Daring and Intimate Knitwear at KOCHÉ

You can tell by the photographs that Christelle Kocher is dedicated to making clothes that are as comfortable as they are cozy with her ready-to-wear oversized designs fashioned from Italian wool. Perfect for a walk in the park, or a night out on the town with friends, KOCHÉ perfectly merges haute couture with a bold and daring motorcycle motif inspired by German artist Alexandra Birchen. Having come from a working-class environment in Strasbourg, it only makes sense that she would find herself attracted to creating wares that aren’t simply “showy”, but practical as well. Christelle has modernized knitwear and given it a modern look and feel and her use of color in her latest collection brings it out even more.

Geologically speaking, spring has sprung. In all actuality, though, it’s still winter. Do we really want to think about what we’re going to be wearing next winter? Yes, we do. Especially since we’re talking about KOCHÉ's Autumn/Winter 2023 pre-season collection which Christelle Kocher revealed in her company’s Paris-based studio.

KOCHÉ dresses are a whole other aesthetic, one that is inspired by Madame Grès and Madame Vionnet. The cuts are structured in such a way that gives their dresses a contemporary stylish look, while at the same time, utilizing the wide collars of eighties fashion.
