You should have seen me back in the nineties with the leather, the piercings, Doc Martens, rings, bracelets, dreadlocks, trench coats, and every article of clothing I owned was black. I was into heavy metal, techno, hip hop, and digital hardcore. It was an insane time and I enjoyed it to the fullest! These days, I’m bald and have only one piercing remaining. I wish I knew what the heck happened to all of the cool jewelry I had back when, but I started dressing conservatively a few years back anyway. My day job required me to wear a suit and attend formal parties and black-tie affairs, so I had no choice but to comply. Lately, however, I’ve become disgusted with my casual wear. My suits may look corporate, but at least I look fly as fuck wearing them. My casual clothes suck! I bought tickets to an EDM event recently and realized that everything in my closet looked like my dad’s clothing, bland and uninspiring. So into the charity bin with all of it!
